The picture depicts the central heart and the spiritual energy of the program being supported by the men facilitators (the two figures under the heart) and the female facilitators (the eyes above). The pair of figures on each side represent the peoples of the four winds (nga hau e wha) who come together to make up the family of AVP.

“AWHI” I roto te reo Maori (in the Maori language) means to embrace, foster and to cherish.

Unfortunately, we are unable to produce AWHI any longer. AWHI was the title of our newsletter which provided a means of communication for those who have had contact with AVP in some way. Content ranged from conference talks, National Gathering reports to personal perspectives, photos, & poems to International contributions and special remembrances.
